  1. Eligibility and submission

Listings on Best Nail Salon are intended for businesses and independent professionals submitting their own details.

By submitting a nomination or requesting a listing, you confirm that:

 

  • You are the business owner or authorised to submit on behalf of the business.
  • All information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge at the time of submission.

 

We reserve the right to request clarification or verification of submitted details.

 

  1. Accuracy of information

 

By nominating or listing your business, you confirm that:

 

The information you provide is true, accurate, and not misleading.

 

You understand that inaccurate or misleading information may result in the listing being amended or removed.

 

Best Nail Salon is not responsible for verifying the accuracy of information submitted by businesses.

 

  1. Listing approval and removal

 

All listings are subject to review.

 

Best Nail Salon reserves the right to:

 

Approve, reject, edit, suspend, or remove any listing at any time.

 

Remove a listing without notice if it breaches these Terms, contains false information, or is deemed unsuitable for the platform.

 

Removal of a listing does not entitle the business to any refund (see Section 6).

 

  1. Public voting and results

 

Listings are displayed for public viewing and voting.

 

By participating, you acknowledge and agree that:

 

Voting is conducted by members of the public.

 

Results are based solely on votes received during the voting period.

 

Best Nail Salon does not control, influence, or guarantee voting outcomes.

 

Results are final once voting has closed.

 

Best Nail Salon makes no guarantees regarding placement, ranking, or outcome.

Participation in listings or the purchase of any listing upgrade:

 

Does not guarantee visibility, ranking, votes, or awards.

 

Does not influence nominations, voting, judging, or results.

 

Does not imply endorsement or certification beyond what is stated on the platform.

 

Listing upgrades are for presentation and information purposes only.

 

  1. Paid listing upgrades and refunds

 

Where a paid listing upgrade is purchased:

 

The fee (currently £12) covers administrative work, including creation, formatting, and management of the listing.

 

Listing upgrade fees are non-refundable, including if:

 

The business requests removal of the listing.

 

The business ceases trading.

 

The business cancels participation.

 

The listing is removed after purchase.

 

No refunds will be issued once administrative work has commenced.

 

  1. Listing duration and locked results

 

Once voting for an area has closed:

 

Results are locked for a period of 12 months.

 

Rankings, placements, and results will not be amended during this period.

 

Listings may remain visible for reference during the locked period.

 

  1. Limitation of liability

 

Best Nail Salon, its operators, contributors, and affiliates:

 

Accept no liability for any direct or indirect impact participation may have on a business.

 

Are not responsible for loss of income, reputation, customers, or opportunities resulting from listing participation, voting outcomes, or public perception.

 

Participation is voluntary and at the business’s own discretion.

Best Nail Salon reserves the right to:

 

Amend listing formats, presentation, and structure.

 

Update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

 

Modify or discontinue listings or features without liability.

 

Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the most recent Terms.

By submitting a nomination, requesting a listing, or purchasing a listing upgrade, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Listings Terms & Conditions.

 

Voting Terms & Conditions

  1. Eligibility to vote

 

Voting on Best Nail Salon is intended for members of the public who have genuinely used the services of the business or independent professional they are voting for.

 

By submitting a vote, you confirm that:

 

You are voting based on a genuine recommendation or experience.

 

You are submitting the vote personally and not on behalf of others.

 

  1. One vote per business

 

Each individual is permitted to submit one vote per salon or independent nail professional.

 

Multiple votes for the same business by the same individual are not permitted, regardless of method or device used.

 

  1. Email verification

 

To help maintain fairness and integrity:

 

Email verification is required as part of the voting process.

 

This measure is used to reduce automated, fraudulent, or duplicate voting.

 

Email addresses are collected solely for voting verification and platform administration purposes, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

  1. Fraudulent or manipulative voting

 

Best Nail Salon actively monitors voting activity.

 

We reserve the right to investigate voting behaviour that appears to be:

 

Automated

 

Manipulated

 

Incentivised

 

Coordinated in a way that undermines fair voting

 

Otherwise inconsistent with the spirit of genuine public voting

 

Where fraudulent or manipulative voting is suspected, Best Nail Salon reserves the right to:

Reset vote counts

 

Suspend or remove a listing entirely

 

These actions may be taken without notice and at our discretion.

Results are locked for a period of 12 months

 

No amendments or recounts will be made, except where required by platform integrity concerns

Any business impact resulting from voting outcomes

 

Public perception or interpretation of results

 

Any loss, dispute, or disagreement arising from voting results

 

Participation in voting is voluntary.

Visibility and recognition are provided solely as acknowledgement of support.

Best Nail Salon partners only with businesses and organisations that align with the values of the platform.

 

We do not represent, promote, or associate with businesses that:

 

Promote harm, discrimination, or exploitation

 

Promote illegal activity

 

Contain obscene, explicit, or offensive content

 

Conflict with the professional and community-led nature of the platform

 

We reserve the right to refuse or decline partnership applications at our discretion.

 

  1. Partnership term

 

Unless otherwise stated, all partnerships are granted for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

 

At the end of the partnership term:

 

Recognition and placement may be removed or updated

 

Renewal may be offered at the discretion of Best Nail Salon

 

Partnerships do not automatically renew unless explicitly agreed.

 

  1. Scope of partnership recognition

 

Partnership recognition may include, depending on the partnership level:

 

Banner or logo placement

 

Editorial or written features

 

Social media recognition

 

Inclusion on certificates or awards materials

 

Recognition on trophies or physical items

 

The exact inclusions are defined at the time of purchase.

 

Best Nail Salon reserves the right to determine placement, format, and presentation.

Partners are encouraged, but not required, to work collaboratively with local winners and nominees.

Shared content or offers

 

Supporting one another’s audiences where appropriate

 

Any collaboration between partners and winners is voluntary and arranged independently.

Best Nail Salon does not act as an agent, intermediary, or representative for partnerships between:

Any agreements, promotions, or collaborations entered into are done so entirely at the discretion and responsibility of the parties involved.

However, Best Nail Salon reserves the right to withdraw or terminate a partnership in exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to:

Conduct that brings the platform into disrepute

 

Discovery of information that fundamentally conflicts with platform values

 

Where termination occurs for such reasons, refunds are not guaranteed.

Merchandise Terms & Conditions

  1. Customised and winner merchandise

 

Winner merchandise, including but not limited to trophies, plaques, medals, and certificates, is produced as customised items.

 

By placing an order, the purchaser confirms that:

 

All names, titles, spellings, and details provided are correct at the time of order.

 

The information supplied is final once the order is submitted.

 

Best Nail Salon is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information provided by the purchaser.

 

  1. Responsibility for accuracy

 

It is the sole responsibility of the salon or independent professional to:

 

Check all spelling, formatting, and details before completing the purchase.

 

Ensure names and titles are entered exactly as they should appear on the finished item.

 

Changes cannot be made once production has begun.

 

  1. Refunds and cancellations

 

Due to the customised nature of winner merchandise:

 

All sales are final.

 

Customised items are non-refundable and non-returnable once production has commenced.

 

Refunds will not be issued for:

 

Spelling or formatting errors submitted by the purchaser

 

Change of mind

 

Business closure or withdrawal

 

Delay not caused by damage (see Section 4)

 

  1. Damaged items

 

If an item arrives damaged, the purchaser must:

 

Notify Best Nail Salon within 3 days of receiving the item

 

Provide photographic evidence of the damage

 

Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.

 

Where damage is confirmed, a replacement or resolution will be arranged in line with the fulfilment provider’s process.

 

  1. Fulfilment and third-party supplier

 

Merchandise orders are fulfilled by a third-party supplier:

Delivery timelines, tracking, and fulfilment enquiries are handled by the supplier

 

Best Nail Salon is not responsible for delays, losses, or errors caused by the fulfilment provider

 

We will, where possible, assist with communication, but liability rests with the fulfilment provider.

Once an order has been dispatched:

Responsibility for delivery passes to the courier and fulfilment provider

 

Best Nail Salon does not guarantee delivery dates.
